Writing class = awsome.

Through out this semester i have been in writing class which gave me the chance to create this blog along with some great videos for school. I enjoyed this very much it was probably my favorite class all year cause i got to write about a lot of awesome stuff like bands and games that I play.

The most challenging writing we did in this course i would have to say was when Mr Carter gave us a picture and we had to write about this picture and and this little boys trip from one spot to another i found this one a bit difficult because it didn't allow me to create the trip up entirely by myself i think i would have been able to do a better job with out the picture. I found that the easiest type of writing that we did was when we had to write a Christmas story.

I found the peer assignments very helpful because they gave me a chance to go back and make my corrections and get a better mark on the unit.

I feel like i have full filled my writing inventory cause i did get a few good pieces of writing out of this semester.

Three of the most enjoyable assignments I did this year would have to be my parkway drive is the best band ever, An Ahhhny Christmas and mine Jr Alex and Travis video called The Evolution of Frankando.

The three assignments that i did not like would have to be the how to video project the telling a story assignment and the grammer project we did.

Parkway Drive best band ever?

With the there new upcoming album coming up which is set to be released the 29 of June i decided to focus this topic on possible the best metal band ever in my eyes. Parkway are a Metal core band from Byron Bay, Australia the band consist of Winston McCall, (vocals) Ben Gorden, (drums) Jeff ling, (Lead guitar) Jia O'Connor, (bass) and Luke Kilpatrick (Rhythm guitar). I am going to be focusing on just how this band might be the greatest metal core band of our day's.

In my mind Parkway are a contender for greatest metal core band of our time because of there raw talent and passion for music. Parkways passion for music is show just by how hard they worked to put there name out there in the world unlike and Disney or pop band that is out there today parkway didn't have any body to commercialize them they didn't have they're parents pay money to put them on TV and get know they made a CD and they toured constantly for 3 years. in 3 years they toured all of Australia then they had no where also to tour so they called a man named Adam Dutkiewicz or other wise know as Adam D lead guitarist for Killswitch Engage and producer for many metal bands and they recorded a full length album in 2 weeks and then headed overseas to England and tour all across England and then got a flight to America and toured all across the U.S. After they toured across the us they got a offer from a record company called Epitaph records and they signed to them and got there album killing with a smile released in America. As you can see Parkway have worked hard and traveled far from home just to play there music to there fans. Which proves my point that they are passionate about there music.

Parkway also have the talent for being the greatest metal core band of our time. With people like Jeff on lead guitar who is extremely technical and and Luke on rhythm who doesn't play quite as technical as Jeff equals out to an amazing combination. With Ben Gorden on drums is also a great asset to the band cause he is a very fast drum player even though he does not have the greatest double bass talent he is amazingly fast at the beats. Jia who is on bass does very well on even though parkways bass is not that noticeable on there records Jia puts on a great performance at concerts. And to top off there amazing talent they got Winston on vocals who is an amazing screamer and great performer. With all these talents put together the band's songs are just amazing i can not think of one Parkway song that does not have a awesome breakdown plus Parkway drive are the masters of sing along songs!

Parkway are also great because of there teamwork and there friendship. Every member of parkway have know each other since they were kids and they grew up with each other hanging out and surfing with each other and they have a great friendship and it really helps them out when they are playing up on stage doing great performances.

Despite all these great facts about Parkway there is a part of me that says there are a lot of metal core bands out there and to judge with out hearing them all is just crazy. I mean i love parkway drive but then there are bands that i like almost just as much or just as much such as As I Lay Dying or For Today or August Burns Red which are all amazing bands that i can not decide which is greater because they are all strong in different ways.

In my conclusion I cannot decide if Parkway is the greatest Metal core band ever because there are so many bands out there that it is difficult to choose i guesse to choose would be like "all hell breaking loose".

The title of the article i have chosen is do you think President Obama is full of junk. I found this on Teenink.com. Author of this article goes by the name of Jocogirl. This piece of persuasive writing starts out good by telling us what she is thinking an bout the topic that she has chosen to write about. The main point of this piece of writing is she is trying to see who agrees with her that Obama is "Full of junk".

The opening paragraph caught my attention cause i do agree that Obama is full of crap. This article only has one paragraph. But this one paragraph is quite well kept in the same category the entire time. She could have used more information to back up that she thinks that he is a liar. SO as i seen the title of this article i had to read it because i completely agree with her that Obama is full of crap. The ending to this article was very power full and was great writing.

This is a good video and helpfull to many people except he could have did a better job explaining that range have to stay on ony entire time untill the adds come and then they aoe. How ever in the video he does show images of the aoe on the adds and he also doesnt mention that you have to stay out of her deep breath move.

Azeroth

I went to sleep then all of a suden i woke up in the mystical world of azeroth i see wow players every where im my level 80 human mage running around blasting stuff and turning people into sheep. I am everything but powerless. I cause chaos upon my enimies i destroy them without pity. I rule my kingdom with pride and power I...I....I woke up.

Super amazing awsome land

I am on a vaction to a place that is called super amazing awsome land. On this vacation there is only me there because im the only one awsome enough to go there every one else is not quite as awsome as me. Here there are unlimted amount of stuff to do such as seeing concerts swiming and all the other awsome stuff. I see a car and gigantic mushroom towers but when i look over into the woods i see a monster jump out and go boo!!! It would have scared me but im to awsome for that.
